Hi! I'm Cosimo (aka cusma).
I'm a free spirit Pirate 🏴☠️🦜, with roots in Puglia 🇮🇹🐙 and the heart in Pernambuco 🇧🇷🏝.

As an Electrical Engineer, I'm trying to figure out how to leave the cradle with a handful of Watts ⚡️and Bits 👾. I'm passionate about science, philosophy, music and art.
I believe that the fact that mathematics, as conceived by human logic, is compatible with the laws of physics and able to describe the external reality with unbelievable precision, is a surprising not-trivial evidence that should not be taken for granted.
Discovering law of physics or writing software are just ways to express this powerful gift we humans have in creating deep relations with the nature to expand the consciousness of our collective mind.
While engineering new technologies, we should always mind not to separate the "techne" from the "logos", since the consequences could be unpleasant.
I try to leave as free human being following the sun ☀️ between Italy 🌍🇮🇹🍝 and Brazil 🌎🇧🇷🥭, sharing public repositories with coding examples (mostly in Python) and learning contents (in English, Italian and Portuguese) about what I've learned so far spending my time studying things that excite me the most.

I firmly believe time has come for a Digital Era paradigm shift. This is why, as an Engineer, I chose contributing to the cause of empowering individuals to regain some control over:
- How we source and use our energy;
- How we produce our food and clothes;
- How we are identified;
- How we communicate and share ideas;
- How we protect our privacy;
- How we build and maintain social connections;
- How we transact and transfer value;
- How we spend our (scarce) time and attention.
As practical example about how anyone can take little steps towards a digital self sovereignty, I've Brave-verified this domain. You can use this page's source code as a reference to create your own digital attention supported personal corner.
Currently, my goal is facilitating learning blockchain development, a new powerful technology that could empower individuals and local communities to pursue their goals. I'm currently focusing on:
